Marshall Health is pleased to offer its patients and visitors at the Marshall University Medical Center and adjacent Cabell Huntington Hospital the convenience of garage and surface lot parking free of charge.
After breaking ground in September 2016, Cabell Huntington Hospital recently completed construction of a new four-story parking garage three months ahead of schedule, yielding 885 parking spaces with 522 net new spaces to enhance access for patients and visitors.
The parking garage is located on the south side of the campus, adjacent to the Marshall University Medical Center. It offers two elevators and more than 30 security cameras and emergency call boxes on each floor.
We encourage patients and visitors to use the parking lot directly in front of the hospital and Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center entrances for short-term parking of four hours or less.
Designated patient/visitor lots will be available on the southeast end of the medical center, adjacent to the J. Robert Pritchard Dialysis Center. Call boxes are available for complimentary shuttle pick-up. To request courtesy shuttle pickup, call 304-544-RIDE.
Drop-off & valet service
Patient drop-off and complimentary valet services are available under the main entrance canopy. To take advantage of our valet services, pull your car up to the main entrance under the canopy. A parking attendant will give you a receipt, take your keys and park your car for you. When you are ready to leave, simply give the attendant your receipt and the car will be driven up to the entrance for you.
New walkway, gift shop construction
Construction will continue between the new parking garage and main Marshall University Medical Center entrance. The one-story, 6,000 square foot structure will offer a climate-controlled connector from the parking garage to the Marshall entrance as well as a new 1,300 square foot gift shop. The project is scheduled for completion in early 2018.
