Your Child's Recovery Matters

A stay in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) can be a scary and stressful time for children and families. Your child's hospital stay can affect how they feel, move, think and act. Sometimes, problems don't show up until after going home. Knowing how to care for your child can be overwhelming.

Our PICU Follow-Up Clinic is designed to help children and families with the transition from hospital to home.

This clinic is not a replacement for your pediatrician.

Your pediatrician is still your child’s main doctor. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the hospital and your child’s regular care. We work with your pediatrician to give your child the best support during recovery.

The PICU Follow-Up Clinic is open Thursday afternoons at Marshall Pediatrics located on the 3rd floor of the Marshall University Medical Center in Huntington. For more information, please call 304.399.1840.
