The Mind Wellness Center is a voluntary, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program for adults 18 and older who do not require inpatient care for acute psychiatric symptoms, including depression, mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, thought disorders and co-occurring disorders of addiction.
The Mind Wellness Center an opportunity for patients to remain in their homes, while participating in a structured, therapeutic environment during the day. The Mind Wellness Center also provides extra support and time as a type of transitional program for patients who are being discharged from an inpatient hospital program. A structured daily schedule makes way for intensive treatment including group and individual therapy, medication management, communication and health and wellness life skills.
The Center operates Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch is provided.
Assessments for treatment may be scheduled within one to two business days of referral. There is not generally a wait list for program admission. Patients may refer themselves for the program. Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurances are accepted for this service.
