Laboratory Services

Onsite lab services are available at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Erma Ora Byrd Clinical Center, the 20th Street Professional Building and St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington and at Marshall Health-Teays Valley in Scott Depot through Cabell Huntington Hospital. You do not have to be an established Marshall Health patient to use these services.

A written order or electronic lab requisition from your doctor is required for testing. Appointments are not necessary for outpatient testing.

When you arrive

• Check in at the lab.
• Present your insurance card and a valid photo ID.
• Present your written doctor’s order, if applicable. A number of Marshall Health providers transmit orders to the lab electronically.

Discount on services

For those who receive lab services, a 10% discount is offered if paid within 20 days of the first statement and a 20% discount is offered to patients who pay their entire bill at time of service.
