Laboratory Services

Onsite lab services are available at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Erma Ora Byrd Clinical Center, the 20th Street Professional Building and St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington and at Marshall Health-Teays Valley in Scott Depot through Cabell Huntington Hospital. You do not have to be an established Marshall Health patient to use these services.

A written order or electronic lab requisition from your doctor is required for testing. Appointments are not necessary for outpatient testing.

Upon Arrival

• Check in at the lab.
• Present your insurance card and a valid photo ID.
• Present your written doctor’s order, if applicable. A number of Marshall Health providers transmit orders to the lab electronically.

Discounts on Laboratory Services

For laboratory services ordered by a physician, patients may receive:

• A 10% discount if the balance is paid in full within 20 days of the first statement.
• A 20% discount if the balance is paid in full at the time of service.

Please note: These discounts apply only to laboratory testing performed in response to a physician's order and billed through patient accounts.

Discounts do not apply to wellness laboratory profiles or direct-pay wellness screening packages offered throughout the year at our 20th Street location. Pricing for wellness profiles is established separately and is not eligible for additional discounts.
