Endocrinology
Bring Your Body Back into Balance
Your hormones have a big impact on how your body functions even how you think or feel. When they aren't being produced properly, processes such as growth and development, metabolism, mood, reproduction, sexual function and sleep can be affected. Marshall Health Network's team of endocrinologists are here to help bring your body back into balance with proven treatments for hormone-related diseases and disorders.
What is Endocrinology?
Endocrinology is the study of the endocrine system. The endocrine system includes several important glands: pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, adrenal glands, pancreas, ovaries and testes.
These glands release hormones, which are chemical messengers between cells. When you produce too many or too little, your body's processes are impacted.
