Biography

Dr. Pinckard-Dover is the director of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery, specializing in surgeries to improve neurologic function. She treats a range of disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, other movement disorders, complex regional pain syndrome, postsurgical back and leg pain, chronic pain syndromes, spasticity, diabetic neuropathy, occipital neuralgia, trigeminal neuralgia, chronic pelvic pain, epilepsy, brain tumors and spine disease. Surgical treatments include deep brain stimulation (DBS), spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, occipital nerve stimulation, facial stimulation, vagal nerve stimulation, intrathecal baclofen pumps, craniotomy, discectomies and spine fusions. She strives to provide personal, compassionate care to each patient.
