Ahmed M. Sherif, MD, AGAF, FASGE

Dr. Sherif is a skilled gastroenterologist with expertise in general and advanced therapeutic endoscopy. He is proficient in all general endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). His advanced endoscopic skills include endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), transoral incisionless fundoplication (TIF), peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), luminal stenting, and drainage procedures.

Dr. Sherif’s clinical interests encompass gastroenterology, pancreatic and biliary disorders, and invasive therapeutic endoscopy. He specializes in the removal of gastrointestinal polyps and tumors, treatment of pancreatic and bile duct stones, and a range of interventional endoscopic techniques to diagnose and manage complex digestive conditions.
