Biography

Teresa first began nursing in 1992 by managing acutely ill patients with pulmonary diseases in Critical Care and Intensive Care Units. In 1997, Teresa started focusing on gastroenterology, where she managed and provided services for patients with acute and chronic conditions including obesity, hypertension, liver disease, IBD, IBS, NASH, colorectal disorders and upper GI pathology. Teresa has also served as an adjunct professor and has lectured physician assistant students in the understanding, diagnoses and treatment of common gastroenterological disorders.
