Marshall Surgery has partnered with Emmi, a series of free online programs that take complex medical information and make it easy to understand, to provide tools patients and caregivers can use to become active participants in their care.
Your physician’s office has handpicked programs just for you based on your specific health care needs. These programs will help you prepare for an upcoming procedure, manage a chronic condition or answer unasked questions.
How does it work?
Programs can be accessed on any device with Internet capabilities, including your desktop, laptop, smartphone or tablet. You can view your Emmi program in the comfort of home or anywhere you have Internet access.
Each Emmi program takes about 20 minutes to view. You can view them as many times as you like and share them with family or friends. As you watch, we encourage you to write notes and questions that you can bring with you to your next doctor appointment.
Getting started
To view your Emmi program, use the 11-digit access code sent to you by Emmi via email following your recent doctor appointment with Marshall Surgery. In lieu of an email, you may have instead received a phone call from Emmi with your access code.
