We know that kids don’t get sick when it’s convenient. We also know that it is not always possible to schedule a last-minute appointment with your pediatrician. Our NowCare pediatric walk-in clinic in Huntington is staffed by the highly-trained pediatricians of Marshall Health pediatricians and accept most major insurance plans.
Pediatric NowCare at 3075 U.S. Route 60 in Huntington is open 7 days a week for pediatric sick visits. In addition to one dedicated, full-time pediatrician, the physicians of Marshall Pediatrics staff our NowCare clinic on a rotating schedule seven days a week.
Monday-Friday | 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday | 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Our Pediatric NowCare is a great alternative to the Emergency Room when your child needs to see the doctor, or it is after hours or you cannot get an appointment with your pediatrician. As a parent or guardian, sometimes it is difficult to gauge how sick your child is, especially if he or she can’t tell you what hurts or how they feel.
Marshall Health’s Pediatric NowCare clinic offers stitches, splints and attention to a variety of injuries that are not life threatening. Some of the common conditions/symptoms we treat include:
Yes. Beginning Monday, January 8, 2024, Marshall Pediatrics – NowCare exclusively serves pediatric patients whose primary care physician is associated with Marshall Health.
This allows our pediatricians to ensure continued quality and that our patients may be seen in a timely manner, all while maintaining continuity of care for your child.
If your child doesn’t have a primary care provider, we can help you find a provider nearest you who best meets your child’s primary care needs.
You trust us with the health and wellbeing of your child and that is a responsibility we do not take lightly.
To that end, Marshall Health has implemented capacity limits for walk-in visits at its Pediatric NowCare Clinic on Saturdays and Sundays for the safety of our patients and providers. In the event that these limits are met on a Saturday or Sunday, Marshall Pediatrics – NowCare will close for walk-in visits for the remainder of that day.
Parents or guardians are encouraged to call 304.399.4422 ahead of their visit, especially during peak seasons of RSV, flu and COVID-19, to verify that the clinic remains open and available to see patients.
If NowCare has reached its capacity limit for the day, additional walk-in clinic options for your child include:
Wait times vary based day, time and peak seasons for various illnesses.
Your time is important to us, and our staff and physicians work hard to be as effeicient as possible. As a walk-in clinic, we treat patients on a first-come, first-serve basis but also triage patients based on severity. While we strive to keep wait times to a minimum, we cannot guarantee how long your wait may be in the waiting room or the exam room.
On busy weekends, especially during peak periods of flu, RSV and COVID-19, we encourage parents may call 304.399.4422 in advance of their child’s weekend visit to verify the availability within daily capacity limits. Please note that we cannot guarantee immediate attention for your child.
We appreciate your patience. Please don't hesitate to let our staff know if you have any questions.
Please remember to bring a copy of your insurance card and government-issued ID to help expedite the registration and check-in process.
