No. We are happy to see your child for a pediatric walk-in visit. Upon request, we will send your child’s primary care provider a copy of your visit with us for continuity of care. If your child doesn’t have a primary care provider, we can help you find a provider nearest you who best meets your child’s primary care needs.
Our Pediatric NowCare is a great alternative to the Emergency Room when your child needs to see the doctor, or it is after hours or you cannot get an appointment with your pediatrician. As a parent or guardian, sometimes it is difficult to gauge how sick your child is, especially if he or she can’t tell you what hurts or how they feel.
Marshall Health’s Pediatric NowCare clinic offers stitches, splints and attention to a variety of injuries that are not life threatening. Some of the common conditions/symptoms we treat include:
- Allergies
- Cough and cold symptoms
- Diarrhea
- Ear pain/infections
- Fever
- Headaches and migraines
- Minor burns
- Minor cuts, bumps and bruises
- Pink eye
- Skin irritations and rashes
- Sore throat
- Urinary tract infections
Your time is important to us, and our staff and physicians work hard to be as effeicient as possible. As a walk-in clinic, we treat patients on a first-come, first-serve basis but also triage patients based on severity. While we strive to keep wait times to a minimum, we cannot guarantee how long your wait may be in the waiting room or the exam room. We appreciate your patience. Please don't hesitate to let our staff know if you have any questions.
Please remember to bring a copy of your insurance card and government-issued ID to help expedite the registration and check-in process.
