Preparing for your endoscopy/colonoscopy is one of the most important steps you can take to help your care team get clear, accurate results. The video series below walks you through each prep option step-by-step, including timing, what to drink, what to avoid and tips to make prep easier.

Before you start

  • Use the prep plan your provider gave you. If your written instructions differ from a video, follow your written instructions.
  • Watch your video at least 2–3 days before your procedure so you have time to shop and plan.
  • If you have questions about your prep, medications or dietary restrictions, call your endoscopy team.
