Sanjeev Sharma, MD

Dr. Sharma currently serves as the Medical Director for St. Mary's Medical Center's Department of Radiation Oncology and Cyberknife Radiosurgery Center. He specializes in the comprehensive management of both cancerous and benign conditions through advanced techniques including external and internal brachytherapy radiation treatments, skin cancer treatments utilizing electron beam radiation therapy, Cyberknife Stereotactic Radiosurgery, low dose radiation treatments for the management of osteoarthritis and administration of radiopharmaceutical injections including Pluvicto, Lutathera and Xofigo.  Dr. Sharma is the first in West Virginia to be designated a SpaceOAR Center of Excellence, injecting SpaceOar hydrogel and placing tracking fiducials in the OR prior to prostate cancer radiation treatments for tissue sparing and reduced side effects.
