Nurse Practitioner
Board-certified nurse practitioner Jennifer Whaley has more than six years of experience in medical dermatology. She began her healthcare career as a registered nurse, working across nearly every hospital unit, where she developed strong clinical skills and a patient-first approach to care. Her background also includes experience in home health and psychiatric nursing, allowing her to care for patients with a well-rounded, compassionate perspective.
As a dermatology nurse practitioner, Jennifer has managed a wide range of medical skin conditions in a high-volume, high-complexity setting. She is known for her clear communication and commitment to individualized, evidence-based care. Jennifer strives to create a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel informed and confident in their treatment plan. Jennifer has extensive experience with in-office dermatologic procedures, including skin biopsies, excisions of benign and atypical growths/nevi and the management of common skin cancers. Jennifer is passionate about dermatology and helping patients feel confident in the skin they’re in. She recognizes that skin is often an indicator of overall health and that individuals are too often judged by their appearance. Her approach emphasizes compassionate, judgment-free care, with a focus on reducing stress and supporting patients through both the physical and emotional challenges of skin conditions.
