Dermatopathology is a subspecialty of dermatology and pathology that requires specialized training to interpret skin biopsies.
At Marshall Health, Dr. Jonathan Cuda, our board-certified dermatopathologist works directly with Marshall doctors and referring physicians to accurately diagnose acute, chronic and complex skin conditions at the microscopic level. Our dermatopathologist offers expertise in all areas of skin disorders and diseases, including:
- Dermatitis
- Skin cancer
- Melanocytic nevi
- Melanoma
- Cutaneous lymphoma
- Hair disorders, such as alopecia

Dermatopathology services at Marshall Health are available to all community physicians, including dermatologists, dermatologic surgeons, family and general practitioners, gynecologists, urologists, podiatrists and plastic surgeons.
