Putnam Rotary, Marshall Health to host Nov. 4 health screening

HURRICANE, W.Va. – The Putnam County Rotary Club and Marshall Health are teaming up to offer a variety of health screenings at a reduced rate from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the First State Bank Community Room, 3754 Teays Valley Road in Hurricane.
Available tests include a basic metabolic panel (BMP) for $30 and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and A1C tests for $10 each. Flu shots are also available for $30. Complimentary blood pressure checks will be provided. Results will be mailed to patients the following week.
Rotary clubs across the country partner with local health care providers to offer annual screenings.
This event is open to the public. All tests are offered at a reduced rate and payable by cash or check. For more information, call Marshall Health-Teays Valley at 304-691-6800 or contact a member of the Putnam County Rotary Club.
