Marshall Health Network teams with Ironton-Lawrence County CAO on mental health services

Marshall Health partners with local agency on mental health.

IRONTON, Ohio – Marshall Health Network and the Ironton-Lawrence County Community Action Organization (CAO), along with their health care extension Family Medical Centers (FMC), are working together to ensure Lawrence County children have access to mental health services.  

Hillary N. Porter, D.O., a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist at Marshall Pediatrics and associate professor of pediatrics at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, now provides dedicated care to children and adolescents ages 4 to 18 every Monday at the FMC Ironton Campus, located at 1408 Campbell Drive, Ironton, OH 45638. 

Porter, an Ironton native with more than seven years of experience as a faculty physician at Marshall Health, specializes in common pediatric and adolescent mental health disorders, including but not limited to ADHD, aggression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder and depression. Patients in Lawrence County, Ohio, and the surrounding area interested in medication management of their mental health concerns are encouraged to reach out for an appointment.
