Marshall Health clinical departments to participate in SeniorFest
Marshall University School of Pharmacy students also scheduled to volunteer

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Students at the Marshall University School of Pharmacy, along with several Marshall Health clinical departments, are gearing up for Cabell Huntington Hospital’s SeniorFest, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, at the hospital.
The students are volunteering in various capacities from providing information about prescription medications to assisting with flu vaccines and guiding seniors through the exhibits.
Marshall Health clinical departments and divisions participating in Saturday’s event include neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopaedics, pharmacy, surgery, urology, and ear, nose and throat. Additionally, the Marshall University department of psychology will offer cognitive and depression screenings.
CHH’s SeniorFest is open to anyone age 50 and over. Dozens of screenings, as well as medication reviews and free flu shots will be available. For more information or to register for the event, please call 304-526-2520.
