Marshall Dermatology welcomes new providers

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Health Network welcomes new dermatology providers Dylan Maldonado, M.D., and McKenzie E. Lambiotte, PA-C.
Maldonado is a fellowship-trained dermatopathologist and comprehensive dermatologist. He specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, also known as Mohs surgery, a highly effective treatment for patients with certain types of skin cancers. It involves diagnosing skin diseases by examining tissue samples under a microscope, allowing for a more accurate diagnosis, targeted treatment and early detection. Maldonado’s clinical interests are acne, psoriasis and skin cancer.
As an assistant professor of dermatology at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Maldonado will be involved in teaching medical students and residents.
Maldonado earned his medical degree from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, followed by a dermatology residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas. He then completed a dermatopathology fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UT Health in Houston, Texas, before returning to Marshall University as a faculty physician.
Lambiotte is a certified physician assistant who specializes in caring for patients with various dermatological concerns such as acne, psoriasis, eczema and skin cancer and regularly performs full body skin examinations. She earned both her bachelor’s degree and Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant degree from Marshall University. She also has experience as a dermatology medical assistant. Lambiottte is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Marshall Dermatology offers a full range of medical dermatology services, from routine skin checks to advanced treatments at the forefront of dermatology care. Maldonado and Lambiotte are both accepting new patients at Marshall Dermatology, an outpatient department of Cabell Huntington Hospital, at 1934 11th Avenue in Huntington. Maldonado is also accepting new patients and referrals to Marshall Health’s Mohs surgery clinic, located at 1305 Elm Street, Lower Level, also in Huntington.
