Marshall Dermatology names new department administrator

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. –  Marshall Health has named Teresa Alexander as department administrator for Marshall Dermatology. In that role, she will oversee the day-to-day operations, administrative and human resources functions of the department.

Alexander joined Marshall Health in 2014 and has served as a patient service representative supervisor and an operations analyst in the department of internal medicine. She worked previously as a scheduling coordinator at Cabell Huntington Hospital and an office manager for a local gastroenterology practice. A native of Kentucky, Alexander earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Murray State University.

“We are excited to keep Teresa on board at Marshall Health and look forward to her leadership in our dermatology department,” said Beth L. Hammers, CEO of Marshall Health.
