12/11/2024

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Health Network welcomes Lindsay Robinson Littlehales, M.D., to its team of neurologists.

As a fellowship-trained headache specialist, Littlehales offers expert care for a wide range of headache conditions, including migraines, cluster headaches, chronic daily headaches, tension-type headaches and new daily persistent headaches. She also specializes in treating craniofacial neuralgias and neuropathies, such as trigeminal neuralgia and cervicogenic headaches, as well as secondary headache disorders like idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), low-pressure headaches, post-stroke headaches and headaches associated with pregnancy, vision loss or postpartum recovery.

Littlehales pursued further education in headache medicine after personal experiences with headache attacks and witnessing the impact of headaches on friends, family and former patients. With today’s advances in this field and new therapies available for her patients, Littlehales looks forward to making a positive impact on the community she calls home.

“I love this field of medicine because of the impact that proper care can make on an individual’s life,” she said. “Headache disorders are often overlooked or underappreciated when, in fact, they are one of the top disabilities in our country and the world.”

She earned her medical degree from the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, where she also completed her neurology residency and served as chief resident. She went on to complete a neurology headache fellowship at West Virginia University in Morgantown.

Littlehales also serves as assistant professor of neurology at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, where she interacts with both residents and medical students daily increasing their knowledge in both the field of general neurology and headache medicine.

She is accepting new patients and referrals at Marshall Neurology in the Huntington office at 304.691.1787 and the Teays Valley office at 304.691.6931.
