Health information teams relocate to East Hills
2/28/2019
Marshall Health's Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management systems teams with offices previously in the Health Information Technology (HIT) location, have recently relocated to East Hills Professional Center located at 5183 U.S. Route 60, just off the 29th Street exit, where they will work alongside the Cabell Huntington Hospital (CHH) CareConnect team.
This move makes way for other medical school initiatives in our former location along Hal Greer Blvd. while also creating opportunities for increased collaboration among the Marshall Health, CHH and St. Mary’s Medical Center HIT teams. This shared service model will prove increasingly beneficial throughout the Project JUMP (Cerner) migration to have our teams working side by side, as well as improve the teams’ service delivery and support across the organizations.
Most HIT trainings will be relocated to the new East Hills location, but training may still be held at the Marshall University Medical Center, as needed.
On-site technical support will still be available in the medical center, Byrd Clinical Center and Marshall Health-Teays Valley. Should you need AllScripts or Centricity support, continue to contact the Helpdesk at 304-691-1748 or somhelpdesk@marshall.edu.
