Dr. Rodriguez Guerra is an international medical graduate with a research, cardiology and medical education background. A board-certified hospitalist with a broad educational background, he earned his medical degree with the highest honors. He has coordinated several cardiovascular missions directed at the Dominican Republic's unprivileged population and has taught at his alma mater, where he continued his training in higher education. Posteriorly, he completed his internal medicine training in New York. He joined Montefiore Medical Center as a faculty hospitalist covering multiple hospitals. His roles included being the associate director of hospital medicine and site director of ICM at Montefiore Mt. Vernon Hospital. With a passion for teaching, he previously served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY. Dr. Rodriguez Guerra has published more than 80 medical publications, was the top 10% cited clinician in 2022 and the top 10% published clinician since 2021.
