Biography

Dr. Angela Thorp graduated from the University of Virginia with high distinction in multidisciplinary studies including analytical chemistry, bioethics and sociology. After completing medical school at Marshall University, she remained to train for residency. She started with an intern year of internal medicine, followed by a psychiatry residency where she currently remains on faculty. She also cares for patients at St. Mary's Medical Center in the behavioral health unit and conducts electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) procedures.
