Biography

Dr. Adam Van Horn grew up in Huntington, West Virginia, and completed undergraduate and medical school at Marshall University. He then went on to complete a five year residency in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at the University of Kentucky. There he gained skills caring for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of needs related to the head and neck including hearing loss, head and neck cancer, sinus disorders, voice and swallowing problems, facial plastic surgery and airway disorders. While he enjoys all areas of otolaryngology, he has a passion for ear surgery and airway management.

Dr. Van Horn completed a yearlong fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the University of Michigan, the nation's top ear, nose and throat (ENT) training program. This further developed his skills and knowledge in specialized areas such as complex airway reconstruction, cochlear implantation, microtia reconstruction and pediatric tumors of the head and neck.

After training he returned to Marshall and the Huntington area to join the strong ENT community. Outside the clinic and hospital, Dr. Van Horn enjoys time at home with his wife and son. They can often be found outside adventuring around the Mountain State.
