Clinical Pharmacy Specialist


Clinical Interests


Dr. Wright has worked as a clinical pharmacy specialist in the family medicine department at Marshall Health since 2015. She specializes in diabetes management and is the second pharmacist in West Virginia to obtain a Collaborative Practice Agreement from the Board of Pharmacy and Board of Medicine. She also contributes largely to the department's CMS Star Ratings and HEDIS measures as they pertain to diabetes, transitions of care and medication therapy management. She precepts IPPE students from the Marshall University School of Pharmacy and is a preceptor for the Marshall Health PGY-1 Residency Program. She recently became a shared faculty member at Marshall University’s new physician assistant program where she teaches pharmacology.
