Dr. Drew Massey is an experienced healthcare leader with over 20 years of expertise in healthcare and administration. He is committed to serving our communities, the state of West Virginia and his profession. He currently is the pharmacy department manager for the main campus location of Marshall Pharmacy, Prior to this role, Dr. Massey served as the director of pharmacy for Fruth Pharmacy and in corporate pharmacy management for Sears Holding Corporation (Kmart Pharmacy) for more than a decade at each organization.
Dr. Massey has served as adjunct faculty at the Marshall University School of Pharmacy, West Virginia University School of Pharmacy and the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy, where he also served as the residency program director.
An advocate for the profession of pharmacy, Dr. Massey has served on the Board of Directors for the West Virginia Pharmacists Association and exercises every opportunity to advance the practice of pharmacy in the state of West Virginia and on the national stage. He has been featured on CNN, Vox, National Geographic and numerous other outlets for his efforts in the communities of West Virginia and has several publications.
Dr. Massey lives in Winfield with his wife Tina, son Nathan, mother-in-law Linda, and dogs “Coco” and “Kona.” Although a Putnam resident, he is always quick to let you know he’s from “Boone” and is proud of his family heritage in West Virginia.
