Dr. Sharma has interest in brain tumor surgery including procedures such as awake craniotomies, Endoscopic endonasal surgery for pituitary and skull base tumors, stereotactic radiosurgery, complex skull base tumors/pathologies, open vascular procedures, spine tumors (intradural and extradural), degenerative spine disease and spine arthroplasty (disc replacement) procedures. Dr. Sharma has given numerous oral and poster presentations at various neurosurgical meetings throughout the world. He helped author more than 200 journal articles and was first author for more than 70. He has also contributed to numerous book chapters.
