Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine’s largest student scholarship fundraiser returns Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Barboursville Soccer Complex. The annual event, which typically raises more than $100,000 for the school’s scholarship endowment fund, had to be canceled in 2020 and 2021 as a result of COVID-19.

Standing Out in Our Field 7 is a “Night in Havana”- themed fundraising event and outdoor dining experience featuring music by Big Planet Soul, dancing and a gourmet Cuban menu by Cabell Huntington Hospital’s Executive Chef Don Sallada. The event’s title sponsor is Mountain Health Network, the school’s major teaching hospital partner.
