Biography

Brittany Dawn Shifflett, BSDH, RDH, CTTP, joined the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine (MUSOM) in January 2022. After a 15-year career in clinical dental hygiene, she was ready to explore other aspects in her field. During her time at MUSOM, she has enjoyed participating in many community oral health projects, providing direct services to the underserved and educating dental residents on her experience, knowledge and research of various oral health topics. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in various community groups, caring for her family of three, vacationing, reading, creating and organizing.
